"Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - Dorland's Medical Dictionary

What Is N.U.C.C.A. ?

N.U.C.C.A. stands for National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. It is a specific type of chiropractic technique that focuses on misalignments of the top vertebra (C1) of the spine.

When the top cervical vertebra is adjusted, two very interesting things happen. The other vertebra of the entire spine tend to align themselves correctly under C1. And, the body tends to hold this adjustment longer than when vertebra below C1 are adjusted.

What this means to the patient is that the entire spine can align gently and naturally at the body's own pace. Holding the adjustment longer mean the body gets to spend more time healing and less time being adjusted. This results in fewer visits in the long run, lower cost to the patient, and better health.

N.U.C.C.A. is supported by current scientific research. It also shows demonstrable improvements in alignment that can easily be seen on x-rays as well as observable postural improvements.
